SDSPB taxonomy database is created and maintained by Data Center for Life Sciences at SCBIT(Shanghai Center for Bioinformation Technology). It provides a simple interface for querying and downloading taxonomy data obtained and updated on a regular basis from the NCBI TaxBrowser. A “common tree” tool that is similar in function to the NCBI common tree is also available.
