SDSPB protein database is created and maintained by Data Center for Life Sciences at SCBIT(Shanghai Center for Bioinformation Technology). It provides a simple interface for querying and downloading protein sequence and related annotation data. Protein data in this database comes from two sources:

• This database contains a complete set of the latest version of Swissprot entries.
• This database has some entries not included in Swissprot that are submitted to it by scientists from China laboratories.
