BLAST(Basic Local Alignment Search Tool)基本的局部相似性比对搜索工具。是用来将一个蛋白质或DNA序列和各种数据库中的其他序列进行比对的主要工具(Altschul,1990,1997)。BLAST搜索是研究一个蛋白质或基因的最基本的方法之一。
